Program Development Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a primary interface with our customer¡¯s engineering team for assigned programs.
  • Establish plans and oversee cross-functional development activities to meet program milestones including design reviews, prototype and pilot sample deliveries, SW releases, system tunings, production launch readiness, and PPAP.
  • Manage the development process from business award to start of production including change management. Facilitate post-production changes in product and/or process working closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
  • Deliver components and systems within target costs, development budgets, and quality targets.
  • Coordinate the activities of support groups such as manufacturing, quality, and purchasing in support of assigned programs, identifying and escalating potential problems in sufficient time for corrective actions to be implemented.
  • Serve as primary contact to the customer for engineering issues and product development status updates.
  • Coordinate activities of Bose engineers to ensure program requirements are met with the highest customer satisfaction
  • Requires frequent customer visits (1 time per week), and visits of Bose¡¯s headquarter in the US (about 2 times per year)

    Prior experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams is required. Knowledge of a typical Automotive development process, automotive electronics product development, and PMP certification are preferred.

    Fluent Korean and English language skills are required.

    Requires a Bachelor¡¯s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, SW, or acoustics. A Master¡¯s degree, diploma or MBA is preferred. Requires minimum five years of project or engineering management experience in automotive environment.   • Requirement:

  • Requires 5 years or more project or engineering management experience in automotive environment.
